Welcome to September 2026 — the month Obio Akpor FC begins building momentum towards one of its biggest grassroots football initiatives yet.

The countdown has begun.
Obio Akpor FC is preparing to launch a structured Talent Discovery & Development Programme designed to identify, assess and develop promising young footballers across Obio/Akpor Local Government Area.
🌟 THE NEXT FOOTBALL STAR COULD BE IN YOUR BACKYARD.
The search will extend across 6 Zones of Obio/Akpor, creating opportunities for young players to put their abilities to the test and earn a pathway into the Obio Akpor FC Academy.
👦🏾 WHO CAN REGISTER?
Boys aged 9–21 years
📍 COVERAGE
6 Zones across Obio/Akpor
📅 PROGRAMME TIMELINE
📝 Registration: October 2026
⏳ Registration Closes: November 2026
⚽ Trials Begin: December 2026
🏆 Programme Duration: 12 Weeks
Players will be assessed throughout the programme, with selections conducted every two weeks.
Outstanding players may be selected to progress into the Obio Akpor FC Academy for further development.
💰 PROGRAMME FEES
Trial Registration Form: ₦3,000
Session Fee: ₦1,000 per session
Academy Form: ₦20,000 one-time payment for selected players
